Cutting-egde Measurement Science fot the future
The IMEKO Technical Committee TC7-Measurement Science has the pleasure to invite you to submit a paper for his next major event Joint IMEKO TC1-TC7-TC13-TC18 Symposium 2022: “Cutting-edge measurement science for the future” to be held in Porto, Portugal from August 31 to September 1st 2022, Followed by a day MATHMET satellite workshop.
Following this long tradition of exploring measurement fundamentals and emerging concepts of measurements this symposium takes benefits not only from the extension to the topics related to Education (TC1), Biology and Medicine (TC13), Human Functions (TC18), an Social Sciences, but also from the attractiveness of researchers working on multiple fundamental aspects of measurements. In particular, we specifically call colleagues who face new challenges in traceability to submit their contribution.
This year we have decided to join forces with our colleagues from the MATHMET European Metrology Network, as the reference organization for all matters related to mathematical and statistical applications in metrology, including uncertainty evaluation, regression analysis, artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data and digital twins. In this one-day satellite workshop the target research areas are Measurement Uncertainty training, Quality Management Systems, and Measurement on Medical applications, all closely related to the IMEKO TCs organizing this event.
This hybrid online/face-to-face event will give us the possibility to meet again face-to-face and to renew with the concept of “coffee break”
as science accelerator.
